common answer to our initial inquiries is "We have
a Lake Management Company that takes care of our lakes
so we will not be needing you". That is typically what is
exactly wrong with the lakes...the people who are extracting
a continuous flow of money for chemicals and superfluous remedies.
The lake never gets any better; the types of fish keep getting rougher and
eventually the value of the lakeside properties falls along with its appearance.
Only continuous inversion and oxygenation of the waters on the bottom
will provide the ecology to keep a lake healthy forever. The deeper
it is the more profound the affects.
The problem with Home
Owner Associations is they have been sold a pig in a poke.
It always starts out as a beautiful lake, but when it comes time for keeping
it beautiful...nobody knows how to do it. Each person has his own idea
and consequently there's a lot of money wasted on it and nothing
ever gets any better. There should simply be a law that no
developer is allowed to sell homes around a lake unless
it has in place a permanent plan and the necessary
equipment ON HAND and running successfully
maintaining
within a foot of the bottom any place
on the lake 24/365. Mother nature
produces favorable results
from that time forward.
