These photos were taken today
(12/16/2005). Despite the cold temperatures the surface of our
lake is only about half frozen. This is due in part to the three aerator
diffusers which never allow
the lake to freeze completely. This has made our lake much more popular
with wild ducks and
geese that like open water.
The decrease in amount of vegetation was noticeable this year
since we added the aerators.
