So What if it takes 10 or 15 years to get it all done. The lake will be getting younger and younger with each phase of aeration!

These Sections are typically 40ish acres. One is about 80
but has two systems at the same vantage point. This design should turn the
entire lake over in about 3 to 4 days...often enough to eliminate any fecal
coliform bacteria and often enough to maintain dissolved oxygen on the bottom to
keep bottom-feeding creatures like snails alive so they will digest the bottom
biological materials and support a wonderful aerobic aquatic environment.
Biologically speaking, the lake will reverse its aging process. There should never be any need to add any chemicals
for any reason. The water going into the stream below will be very high
quality stream-water. People should be able to fertilize their yards all
they want. Catch and eat the keepers!
Our caveat is that Living Organisms and Enzymes should be
used in the three years of aeration at each section. If it can't be done about two weeks
following startup of the area's aeration system, then it should be done in the Spring of the first full year
of aeration. In the winter time Gooneybird recommends running only one out of
the two, three or four compressors in each of the cabinets and keep people and
animals off the ice.
